Metal Prints
Metal prints are a relatively new art medium for preserving photos by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets giving the prints a luminescent and contemporary quality. They make the colors and light of the image really jump out. Metal prints are very light and endure the test of time.
Metal prints are surprisingly thin and light, colors just pop! The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just handle carefully to avoid bending, and keep away from direct sunlight. The surface can be cleaned using a soft cloth with a non-ammonia based window cleaner or water.
Although metal prints can be framed in a variety of wood or metal frames, they often stand on their own like no other print can. The frameless option gives a beautifully sleek, stylish, contemporary look.
When we remodeled our bathroom, we printed the above image in metal and are very pleased with how it complements the new bathroom's modern and sleek style. It is perfect for a high-humidity room and we love how it looks!
