Mats and Frames
Prints are enhanced with the proper presentation. At the time of purchasing any of our fine art prints, we strongly suggest that you consider ordering a window mat and a frame of your choice.
When you select the “Buy” button, choose the print size you want, and the type of paper you prefer. You can then select among a wide variety of color and style frames and preview the image with different frames to get an idea of how the image will look. You then will have the opportunity to select either a white or black mat and choose between a clear or non-glare glass before proceeding to checkout.
The fine art photographic image will be professionally framed and shipped without you having to go to your frame shop or craft store.
- All Print sizes up to 20" x 30" can be framed
- Choose from regular glass and non-glare glass
- Black and White Mats come in 2" width
- Adding mat to a framed print increases the width and height by 4", for example, an 8" x 10" print that is framed and has a mat will end up being 12" x 14" plus the width of the frame
If you prefer to mat and frame the fine art print yourself, you can still take advantage of the preview feature of the website to get an idea of how it would look with different types of frames and mats.
It is not advisable to frame a photograph without a mat because the mat protects the photographic paper by creating a space between the paper and the glass.
